The original Dark Crystal is something of an odd cult movie from Jim Henson. A bit of a flop when it first came out, the generation that grew up on it feels a bit differently, and now there’s a prequel series on Netflix. Sure, prequels may mean all of our central protagonists are ultimately doomed, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a good story along the way.
