Look, this is only the halfway point of the season. It’s highly unlikely that the Brothers Sisters are going to be outed as the killers. Not yet at least. They can still be the killers, but I have four more episodes left to find out.
But this episode can give the investigators someone to look into, especially as the previous episode ended with an assassination attempt on Oliver. Or Zach Galifianakis. Some people might have really hated the Hangover sequels.
To be clear, while Galifianakis was hit (as was stuntman Glen), nobody dies. It also looks like Oliver is the target, but now that the trio suspects the eccentric Brothers Sisters–as opposed to the Sisters Brothers, but I don’t think this show has the budget to hire John C. Reilly and Joaquin Phoenix–they do have a point to focus on. Detective Williams comes by with Sazz’s remains, and that leads to another clue, namely that there’s two left shoulders here. Sazz only had one of those, so there must be a second body’s ashes in the furnace. Could it be connected to someone who didn’t want the trio to ever investigate murders in the building?
Oh, interesting to note that Detective Williams also reports that the mysterious Professor Dudenoff has been cashing Social Security checks in the city. He’s not overseas as expected!
Dudenoff is looking more and more like a suspect. Or the Brothers Sisters are since they have cameras in everyone’s apartments, and that ain’t cool. No one likes that sort of attention except for people who do. And the sisters are odd people as seen through the found-footage documentary style of this episode where they discovered filmmaking at a young age, but no one understood them until they went to film school and met that one teacher that got them: Professor Milton Dudenoff.
Dude!
They’d do anything for that guy!
Also, Vince Fish and Rudy Thurber were also in that class. Vince’s red eye bounces from one eye to the other, and that’s odd enough, but those guys might be of help with a drone to spy on the sisters. I’m not sure why the investigators trust those guys. I mean, I wouldn’t. Not quite. They were in the same class, and they’ve been subletting their apartments from Dudenoff cheaply for a long time, so they might also do as Dudenoff wants to keep their living spaces. Manhattan has some of the most notoriously high rents in the country, and they’ve been renting for $200 a month. That seems unlikely.
Eh, it may not matter as the gang corners the sisters on camera and confront them about Dudenoff and all that, only for the call to come in that the other body in the furnace with a fake shoulder was also Dudenoff.
Dude!
Yeah, the Sisters’ reaction suggests they are probably innocent, but then the texts come in to everyone’s phone. Charles was shot at, but the shot hit Sazz. Oliver was just shot at. Mabel is next. It might be time to get out of town.
But hey, not a bad documentary from a couple of oddballs. Possible murderers, but definitely oddballs.
