OK, I just…I just can’t with this one anymore.
Yeah, this is one mediocre TV show. I don’t know if I would have cared more if I didn’t know before I started the first episode that Amazon Prime Video already canceled it, and whatever happens in the next episode, I know there will be loose ends and unresolved plot points.
And I wouldn’t even call this bad television. It just doesn’t work for me. It’s a show with four girls having problems due to time travel, and the rules are a bit screwy because, one again, KJ’s parents were killed in the past but are fine in the future.
Tiff finds out from her older self that she’s adopted in this episode, and Kid Tiff is angry that Adult Tiff dropped out of college and blamed her/their mother. That’s understandable, and I don’t care.
Mac and KJ visit Mac’s grave and try to hide form Mac’s grieving stepmother. That was actually a bit clever. I wouldn’t mind more of this. But there isn’t more of this. And I don’t care.
Erin is in a funk because she saw her own death. I don’t much care.
I really don’t care one way or the other what happens to any of these characters, and that’s a shame since I actually enjoyed the original comic series this is based on quite a bit. It’s why I opted to watch it in the first place. But really, this show hasn’t given me much of a reason to care about these characters and their plight, and that’s the main priority for a show like this in the end.
