I saw a joke recently in an “Honest Trailers” video that Netflix just loves Jeffrey Dahmer because the mini-series they made about the guy turned out to be pretty popular.
YouTube channel The Take thinks that’s not a good thing.
According to The Take, TV antiheroes like Walter White and Tony Soprano are bad guys where the audience watches to see if they ever redeem themselves. The problem with basing a TV show like that around real world figures like Elizabeth Holmes is that it could engender sympathy for people who have done nothing to deserve it. What does that mean exactly? See below for details.
