K9 “Black Hunger”

OK, I have some questions.

So, the plot here opens with a pair of guys using some kind of fancy vacuum cleaner that shoots out microbes that eat garbage and clean things up.  Darius swipes the thing to use to clean the mansion, but it all goes wrong.  It’s because of Drake, and it’s always because of Drake, who thinks having advanced microbes that don’t stop eating might be necessary to maintain order.

Obviously, the microbes, called the “Black Hunger,” cause problems.  But, like I said, I have questions.

First off, if they were microbes, why could I see them?

If they were harmless yeast as stated, why did the two guys using them wear protective suits?

If they wore protective suits, why was one guy attacked when some of the microbes slipped inside his suit?  Those suits weren’t very capable.

How exactly does having microbes that eat all living things maintain order?

Why does Drake even have that stuff?

Well, it doesn’t matter.  In the end, K9 literally sucks them all up because they can’t eat him.

Nearly destroying all life on Earth is enough to get Drake canned.  Does that mean June gets his spot?  Of course not!  That just means another antagonist needs to take over.  That would be one Inspector Thorne.  So, everything will be his fault for the rest of the series.

And no, none of my questions were answered and Darius learned nothing.
