Did you enjoy this past summer’s Ant-Man?
Well, good news for you after the cut, assuming you for some reason skipped the headline.
It seems that the Paul Rudd-led superhero caper flick will have a sequel. Hey, anyone who saw the end of the movie might be able to guess the next part, but the title for the 2018 release will be Ant-Man and the Wasp.
What does this mean? Well, it means that unlike The Incredible Hulk, a Marvel movie with a sequel hook might actually follow through on that sequel.
It also means a bunch of other Marvel films like Black Panther and Captain Marvel are getting pushed back.
But hey, if those films do well, their own sequels might push back other future Marvel films, like Inhumans or, I dunno, Speedball.
The point is, we’ll just have to wait and see.
I was very pleasantly surprised by the first, and I look forward to the second.
Actually, Black Panther is moving up from July to February and Ant-Man 2: Ant-Maner is taking the former BP slot.
