There’s a new sheriff in town! Or at least a new rent-a-cop. Did he have enough to take down some former car thieves?
* Coming in first this week was Furious 7 for the third straight week, grossing $29M. Furious passed $1.1B globally and looks primed to pass Avengers on the all time list. Of course it will occupy that lofty spot until it is displaced this summer by Avengers 2!

* Finishing second with $24M was Paul Blart 2 in its debut weekend. Blart was one of the worst reviewed films in recent memory but it still opener fairly well.
* Number three this week was Unfriended in its first frame with $16M.  It would have been $16,000,030 but Ryan, Jenny, and Watson saw it at a free press screening. It was good dumb fun.
* Pulling in at #4 this week was Home in its 4th week with $10M. This movie has played respectably well and might be in the range of sequel talks (they shouldn’t…)
* Rounding out the top five this week was the Longest Ride, grossing $6.5M. I got nothing in the way of commentary here…
